Who we are
Our website address is: https://scevos.gr.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the website, we collect the data that appears on the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser string, to detect spam.
An anonymous string generated from your email address (called a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to determine whether you are using it. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is publicly visible within your comment.
Communication forms
When you submit a contact form on our website, we collect the data you provide (such as name, email, phone number and message) in order to contact you and respond to your request.
These data are kept for as long as necessary to serve the request and are not used for promotional purposes without your consent.
We do not share information submitted through the contact forms with third parties, unless required for legal or operational reasons (e.g. to complete a service you have requested).
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to have your name, email and website saved in cookies. This is for your convenience so that you don’t have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies last for one year.
If you visit the login page, we will set a temporary cookie to see if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.
When you sign in, we will also create several cookies to store your login details and screen display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, while screen preference cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember me”, your login will be retained for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be deleted.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie does not contain any personal data and simply indicates the ID of the article you edited. It expires after one day.
Embedded content from other websites
The articles on this website may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if the user had visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, incorporate additional third-party tracking, and track your interaction with this content, including if you have an account and are logged in to this website.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we keep your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. This is so that we can identify and approve any subsequent comments automatically, rather than holding them in a moderation queue.
For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except to change their username). Website administrators can also view and edit this information.
What rights you have to your data
If you have an account on this website or have left comments, you can request to receive a record of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete any personal data we hold about you. This does not include data that we are obliged to retain for administrative, legal or security reasons.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
